Step 1 - Open Windows Security

  1. Press Windows Key.
  2. Search for Windows Security.
  3. Open the application.

Step 2 - Navigate to Core Isolation

  1. Select Device Security.
  2. Under Core Isolation, click Core Isolation Details.

Step 3 - Disable Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist

  1. Locate Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist.
  2. Ensure the setting is Off.
  3. If it is enabled, turn it Off.

Alternative Method (If The Option Is Missing)

Some versions of Windows do not display the Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist setting. If you cannot see the option:
  1. Open PowerShell as Administrator.
  2. Paste the following command:
reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Config /v VulnerableDriverBlocklistEnable /t REG_DWORD /d 0x000000
  1. Press Enter.
  2. Type Y if prompted and press Enter.

Step 4 - Restart Your Computer

  1. Save any open work.
  2. Restart your PC.
Important: The change will not apply until your computer has been restarted.
